Friends n family tell me l have an eye for detail and l’m overly particular and meticulous. Can’t say l disagree.
Anyway, took my mint condition 2yr old factory pearl painted Honda in after being rear ended. I was totally bummed and concerned l’d get one of those paint jobs that’s ‘close enough for most people’, ie 95% close. And let’s face it, the paint job is what matters.
Ryan (the owner) guaranteed l’d be happy. So, they replaced bumper, entire rear trunk/hatch, hinges, and misc parts, all of course OEM. It’s now been 3 months since taking the vehicle home, I can say with certainty, at all angles and various light conditions (street light, garage light, full sun and overcast skies) paint is spot on, and of course paint is smooth and laid perfectly. All in all, as close to factory as it gets. And yes, of course the power operated trunk and gaps/alignment are spot on and it operates perfectly. Nobody other than Carfax and myself would know it was hit. Oh, and they handled it all; rental car, dealing with the nightmare that is insurance (copied me on all communication), and texting me with updates as needed.
Shop is as good it gets. It’s a body shop of the 21st century. You’d think the owner (who is always on site) had worked a previous life at hotel in Scottsdale, just knows customer service. Enterprise car rental is 1/2 mile down the street, so pickup and drop-off is slick. Last off all, the branch manager at Enterprise knows Ryan on a first name basis, that says something.
